DInner- Chicken Rice

24/1 i cooked dinner at home since my mom-in-law outstation. So i decided to cook Chicken rice. Everything run smooth, but when i opened the rice cooker..... the rice wasn't enough for 1 person!! Why??? i pour in 1 full cup or raw rice into cooker, 1.5 cup chicken soup, why ends up with half-bowl rice only? Sad!!!! I need to top up the rice, so i had to cooked on the stove. Finally, the rice was done, but quite sticky.... :(  It spoil the whole dish.....sad!!

Daddy's Birthday

Last Sunday we celebrate daddy's birthday at my mom's house. i bake him a cake, pandan flavor with choco topping.

Early "Low Shan"

Last Saturday 22/1/2011, we had our "Low Shan" and lunch in a restaurant. The large "Low Shan" cost RM41.80 in this restaurant.

上星期六到永馨楼吃午餐，其实挺丰富哦！第二次捞生，不敢吃太多，怕发大热气。
所以只沾一点就停。

The first dish: "Yee Shan", which is made of vege, fruit, and sashimi. Serve with oil and sweet sour sauce

Then, everybody stand up, shout "Low! Low!" while mixing the dish,

After "Low Shan", other dishes on their way to our table

Lion Dance

Mother-in-law pass us a lion dance head which she kept for more than 20 years. It still look nice in shape and color, but unsure Baby O would like it or not!

小O的嬷嬷不知从哪找来这个陈年的舞狮头，颜色还很鲜艳，只是那‘皮’似乎薄了，
大力些怕会穿洞呢！！小O看见舞狮不会恐惧，也没退缩，应该可以接受吧！

What happen?There is a backhoe in front of my house!!

We discovered there was a tiny pond near the tree in front of car porch. We suspect there was either water pipe leaking or the drain leaking. Daddy called SAINS on Thaipusam at 1.30pm, the staff came around 2pm to run some checking. Then come a truck and a backhoe to dig a hole in front of our house.

 Finally they found out that the water pipe to the opposite house was leaking, not our one. They repaired and went off around 6pm.

Mushroom soup with puff pastry

I made mushroom soup with puff pastry on top this Thaipusam for breakfast. Unfortunately, the top was over baked.... but not bad lah.

星期四早上，心血来潮弄了酥皮蘑菇忌廉汤，可惜酥皮烘过渡，有少许烧焦了。

Wedding Receptionon 16/1/11

Daddy's cousin had a wedding reception in Lucky Palace S2 last night. The hall nicely decorated after renovation...feel like in a hotel.

昨天王爷堂妹在好运酒楼摆酒席，没想到，装修后的好运富丽堂皇，就像在大酒店一
样。食物方面还可以，比上次的好点。只是冷气太冷，没开席前，全都往外跑。。
